Brushless electric motors with gearbox are ideal for underwater rotary applications. A new product with absolute encoder, driver included in the housing and RS485 control. The body housing is manufactured from lightweight hard anodized aluminum and the shaft in 17-4 PH stainless steel. Both internal and external oil filled pressure compensators are available.
Aluminum Rotary Actuator 27 Nm at 16 rpm – Self Compensated
The Rotary Actuator includes inside the housing all the necessary circuitry (logic and driver) for position control using standard RS422 (RS485 duplex on 4 wires) serial communication (19200 baud, 8, N, 1). The actuator is equipped with an absolute encoder mounted on the output shaft. The position information (30 bits) is retained between power cycles.
Linear Underwater Actuator Trunion 1000N
The Linear Actuator is made out of SST 316,or Titanium and can deliver forces up to 1,000N. It is rated to 6,000m with speeds up to 200 mm/sec
The Underwater Linear Actuator includes a rotary resolver placed on the motor shaft. Driver and control logic are not included.
